Me, Me, Wonderful MeI'm Thaddeus Spae, a musician, entertainer, composer, songsmith, audio engineer, graphic designer, writer and fixit guy. I live in a little house in a big yard with my wife Sandahbeth and way too many musical instruments in Seattle Washington, where it rains all the time. Don't move here. I perform solo and with three bands, compose songs and music for stage, screen and video games and operate Bard's Cathedral, a small-but-doughty recording studio, record label and graphic design/ cd duplication service. I also do home repair as The Gentleman Handyman. In my ominously unprofitable free time I play with websites, cartoon, program, take long walks, care for my doughty- though- physically- challenged wife, listen to music, read, meditate, stare at television and scratch my ass. I have a very itchy ass. My chief avocation at this point is the Thaddeus Gazette, a somewhat peculiar amalgamation of online creative ingredients which began as a weekly email to friends and other strangers in 1996 and refused to leave. I gave it up forever in 2000, only to bring it back in 2002 as a website. It's not a blog. Blogs are evil. I've had all kinds of peculiar micro-successes in the glorious underbellies of art and show biz, most of them well past over and done by now but some persisting. I'm torn between wondering what I'm going to be when I grow up and suspecting that I've already retired and just don't know it yet. That's about it. Note to Homeland Security: I'm not the droid you're looking for. I'm free to go. |
